For Christmas, I received binoculars as a gift from my children. They are very helpful in helping me clearly see the details of birds and other creatures. The level of detail the binoculars give me changes my perspective on the objects I see.
We see life from a different perspective when we look at it through the lens of God's word. At Pine Haven, we use that lens to help us understand that we are not only here to provide quality care but also to provide care in a Christ-centered environment.
The core values of Pine Haven were created from the perspective of God's Word, giving us direction on how to create a Christ-centered environment. Those values direct us to not only care for each other but also care about each other. We are led to show compassion by serving with kindness and mercy. We also strive to be patient, kind and trusting.
With the perspective that we are all created in God's image, we are led to maintain relationships based on honesty and respect, forgiving each other just as God has forgiven us.
While we are not perfect, we are committed to using the talents and abilities that God has blessed us with to serve the residents, families, and our entire community from a uniquely Christian perspective. We hope that perspective shines through brightly, giving glory to our Heavenly Father.
